Details: The Class of ’69 will return to the beautiful setting of THE AMISH BARN at EDGE in north Brazos County for the 2024 Muster Ceremony. The event will include a delicious meal by the award-winning BLUE MOON BBQ. The guest speaker will be Don House ’69, who along with his wife Paula, owns the Amish Barn where we are meeting.
Don is a native of the Bryan/College Station area, and will speak about the history of this community and its relationship with Texas A&M and the community, as well as about the success of Texas A&M relative to many other higher education institutions of our time.
A social hour will begin at 4:00pm with the meal and program starting at 5:00pm. The reading of names of deceased classmates will highlight the evening with tolling of the bell as each name is called. The event will close with the playing of TAPS, singing of Auld Lang Syne, and rededicating ourselves to the “Spirit of Aggieland.” Friends and families of the Class of ’69 are invited.
