What surround you here today are those basic elements that bind all Aggies together:  Silver Taps, Muster, the Honor Code, our Core Values.  The Spirit Plaza displays the essential elements of “….a Spirit that can ne’er be told….”and it truly begins with a student’s first Silver Taps.  As shown on the Silver Taps marker here in the Plaza, Cassie Stricker ’19, has so correctly stated “Being an Aggie means standing with your Aggie family to honor brothers and sisters who were taken all too soon.  When you choose to attend Silver Taps, you are choosing to be a living representation of the Aggie Spirit.”   Aggie Fish Donald Coward’s impression of his first and only Silver Taps, which you will find on the marker here, will be given by Classmate Bill Maddox.
